Meet Dr. Allison

When you first meet him you’ll immediately understand why so many trust him with their vision care. His experience is remarkable. His passion, and sense of confidence are contagious. And best of all, he’s cared for your neighbors, right here in northeastern Oklahoma for more than twenty years.

He gets an enormous joy out of improving vision…and it shows. But don’t be fooled by his friendly “down home” style. His credentials say a lot about his continuing pursuit of knowledge and excellence in the ophthalmic world:

University of Oklahoma   -Bachelor of Arts
University of Oklahoma   -College of Medicine,-MD
Advanced Ophthalmic Studies:
Herman Eye Center   -University of Texas-Houston
Louisiana State University

He has authored dozens of articles on Ophthalmic care, presented numerous papers at professional symposiums, and is a clinical professor at the University of Oklahoma.

He has traveled the world as teacher of eye surgery and a student. He has performed over 10,000 refractive procedures…and in so doing is recognized as one of the country’s most experienced surgeons. In Tulsa is often the “go to guy” for complex cases.

Born in Hollis Oklahoma…he’s a native to our great state. He and his wife Glenda and their three children live here in Tulsa…just as they have since 1984.

He puts this way. “Sure I’ve done a lot of surgeries…but none is more important than yours. Every patient deserves the best outcome possible.

Nothing short of perfect is my goal.

Restoring vision…carefully, precisely …one patient at a time.

That’s what I do.”
